Copper Hatchet Tip Soldering Iron for Soft-Soldering of Roof Gutters, Metal Sheets and Zinc

Product information "Copper Hatchet Tip Soldering Iron for Soft-Soldering of Roof Gutters, Metal Sheets and Zinc"

This soldering iron with a copper hatchet tip is a powerful tool, with a copper tip of finest quality.
The tool can ideally be used to solder max. 1 mm thick sheets of copper, galvanised steel and refined zinc. Additionally, soft-soldering tasks can be performed on roof gutters and on alloyed zinc on roofing.

As the tip is made of copper it is different than other soldering irons. As copper offers a higher thermal conductivity and has a melting point of over 1,000°C, it can reach especially high temperatures. The tool’s name derives from its hatchet-shaped tip.
The copper hatchet is enclosed by a metal hood, which offers protection against wind. If required, the tip of the soldering iron can be removed with a screw and can be used as a regular soldering iron.

For a comfortable handling, the handle is covered. To be able to put the tool down, the tool features a stand, which can be folded in or out as it is required. The soldering iron has a 3/8" safety terminal and runs on gas (propane LPG).
