Product information "AOYUE 486 Smoke Absorber Fume Extraction Unit for Soldering Station"
This is a low-priced fume extractor, the Aoyue 486 Smoke Absorber. The device has a washable filter element which retains the floating particles. During all soldering processes harmful fumes and gases are inevitably generated due to the use of solder fluxes. The smoke absorber complies with the workplace regulations stipulated in paragraph § 53 of the German law, and helps to prevent illnesses of the respiratory tract!
This and the fact that solder flux deposits on the circuit board can lead to problems makes the use of the fume extraction unit increasingly necessary also from a quality point of view. The fume extraction can be turned on via switch. The device is recommended for all those who solder frequently.
