Due to a revolutionary compound heater from composite ceramics and an intelligent soldering tip design, the heat-up phase is shorter and the hot swapping of a tip is no more a big deal. The solder tips get easily swapped and you do not have to cool down the heater first. Unlike externally heated soldering irons, a slim Aoyue 3212 Ritocco design reduces heat losses to a minimum so that all the heat is transferred to the soldering tip.
Over the display on the upper side of the tip you can adjust various modes for plastic materials. For advanced users there is an “Advanced Mode” which enables to control the temperature externally. The appliance has also a Sleep-Function and turns off automatically if it is not used for some time.
Last but not least, the retouch pen stands out with its innovative ergonomic design from other outdated pen designs, which makes it a must-have in 3D printing.
